I can get both at around the same price right now. I prefer neutral/warm sound and to my understanding EQ is mandatory for the Audeze, which I don't mind since I'll be mostly using these on a PC.
Given that, and ignoring the massive difference in isolation, which would be better for the money? I'm mostly concerned about differences in clarity and sound stage. I know the iSine beats the Etymotics in sound stage but I couldn't find any information about how different they are as far as clarity/resolving goes. I also couldn't find any THD figures for the iSine but I'm assuming they're low because they're planars.
If anyone has similar sub-500$ recommendations, they'd be very appreciated. I think the ideal IEM for me would be the ER4XR but with a better sound stage.
