The tour kit is currently in Singapore. It's on its way to Crinacle next, then Oratory1990. After that, you can do rock-paper-scissors with @castleofargh and @hakuzen to figure out who goes next
That sounds like the coupler that @earfonia linked to. If so, that's definitely one of the better couplers out there. Very close to GRAS in terms of both FR and distortion measurements.Ok. That will be perfect. I’m using a 711 clone Type: E610A No: 20347 with a Brüel & Kjær 1704 signal conditioner. Some might have measured it before?
It's crazy that Adorama has the ER2SE for only $49. I'm dropping by tomorrow to pick up another set.

My friend bought the ER2SE from adorama and I had a chance to try them out and review them. I feel like they are a little bass light even for there "studio edition" and with adorama selling ER3XR for $20 more at $70, I wanted to figure out which one sounds better. Unfortunately ER2XR isn't on sale, I tried to find it but I assume it was so popular that it sold out. But I definitely favor XR versions more. Full review below
So idk where else to post I will do so here.
I've had my ER2SE for about a month or so now and I find minimal bass least of an issue. The eargain region starts too soon and then treble is recessed which overemphasizes 1-3k. Is that at all affected by insertion depth? I mean I can only insert then so far
I see, I do use EQ.https://www.head-fi.org/threads/if-you-still-love-etymotic-er4-this-is-the-thread-for-you.538615/

Are the main discussion threads AFAIK. You're basically describing the etymotic sound there- 'tis mid-centric. You may actually want to try less insertion depth for a brighter sound. And/or EQ. And/or different eartips.
