Hi all,
 
Maybe a dump question, as I am trying to hunt down a balance dac and how will you guys choose among the two?
(Current setup is Burson DA-160->Burson Soloist -> HD800 and LCD-3, future setup will be "New DAC"->Headamp GS-X MkII->HD800 and LCD-3)
 
I was thinking to pick up either a Esoteric D-07 at USD$1500 or a UD-501.
 
The D-07 is a relatively old model but still running strong while UD-501 got DSD support and seems value packed.
 
Will you guys pick the old master or the new Padawan? or any other good suggestion with a budge around $2k.

If you consider Teac, look for Airbow mods of it.
