ES-7 and Grado comfort

I have a pair of ES7 that I think are sufficiently comfortable. Given this fact, does that mean that I will be okay comfort-wise with Grados?

What is it exactly that makes Grados uncomfortable?

I had the ES7's and had no problems with them. I now have MS1's and SR325i's (both with bowl pads). I find them both to be even more comfortable than ES7's. I guess some people's ears are just more sensitive.

I guess my original post wasn't clear. What I meant to say was that I have just purchased a grado and it should be shipped to me shortly and I'm worried that I won't find it comfortable.

I haven't actually tried any Grado's before.

The driver pressing against the ear usually causes a problem but bending the headband always fixed that for me.
