How much a difference do the silke transformers make vs the stock transformers?

Not that much difference to be honest. The stock transformers are Eric’s specifications and he got his suppliers to do as he specifies.

I agree it's more than rather. This picture was captured at the right light. A coppery colour. Like a vintage Mona Lisa.

You can't compare current production KT77 with NOS EL34. Clarity and details are not up to the level of NOS EL34.

The Genalex Gold Lion KT77 do have a non offensive sound. Warm and relax. Reminds me of the Gold Lion 300b tubes.
