I just borrowed that CD from a friend, and as soon as I started listening to it I was quite impressed by the quality of the recording...I mean, it just sounds incredible on my setup. I'm quite shocked.

It is a decent recording. Try it out with a modest speaker system and prepare to be blown away with the imaging. You will feel like you are right there among the musicians as they weave their magic tunes...

A lot of people dont agree with me but "Signe" is a fantastic way to start an album...what a superb track!

I'm one of the few who agree with you that "Signe" is a great instrumental track. The other tracks that stand out for me are the two Robert Johnson songs "Walkin' Blues" and "Malted Milk". I would also recommend Clapton's latest CD/DVD release "Songs for Robert J.", in which he re-made almost all of Johnson's songs using electric and acoustic instruments.
