I have done some searching and one guy said the ER6i has a slightly narrower ear tube than the ER4P. Can somebody confirm this. I have trouble with tips falling off my E3C's and want the tightest triple flange possible.

Can anybody confirm that the ER6i triple flanges will be the tightest?

BTW this guy sells them cheap enough on ebay, with pretty low international shipping.

I asked a simlar question directly to a rep at Etymotic. They are the
exact same tip. Shure tips are slightly different, but that is only due to
the length of the stalk. Etys have a shorter stalk.

Thanks. Yes the shures are longer, most end up cutting them down, and they cost way more.

My normal shures come off sometime in my ear. Normally since there is too much wax and I push them in too far. I had thought of roughening up the stems with a file. Now I think it would be better to wrap some tape around the stem instead.

Well I ordered the 6i and got ER4-14, I presume they are the same. They are brilliant. My ear canals have widened and I wasnt getting a good seal with either of the small tips, mediums were too big. These are just right, really flexible and very tight on the stem, no fear of them slipping off, they are vey stretchy they may well fit the e2c, I will try them on my friends pair.
