[ER4P] Etys foam tips vs Shure black foam tips

I've been listening to the ER4 for 4 months, now. They are my primary iem, and I still can't find another pair that sounds better than them.
I've been using them with the Shure black foam tips for the last 6 weeks. Today, I put again the Etys black foam tips, and I notice that they sound better. Seal improves, and so does isolation. Bass improve GREATLY. In the end, they just sound much better. Am I the only one to notice this difference? I'd dare say that the Ety foamies sound much better than the olive foam tips. Too bad the former last much less time than the Shure's.

To me, Shure black foamies are better, hands down. They isolate more, provide better bass, aren't as scratchy, last MUCH longer, are washable, and are significantly thicker and more substantial.

Acutally, I agree with Piccolo as well.

Better bass and comfort, lasts forever etc. I think the olives are a bit "darker" (if that's the correct description in this case) compared to the grey stock ety foamies and wasn't sure how I would like it in the long run but now I'm hooked. I'm using "olive:d" ER4P/S together with an amp with bass boost (the new version of the infamous Headphonia, FWIW) and I have to say the listening fatigue is a thing of the past. But that's me.

Are you sure we're not talking about the same foamies? On this page it's the one that says ER4-14F (the ones my ER4 arrived with). If those are indeed the ones then my above statment applies, if there are other ones besides those, it's my mistake. Anyway, sorry for the confusion.

[Edit] Looking again maybe those foamies really are black. Sorry, my bad...

*Oh... I er, probably won't be very popular for saying this but with bass boost on when using the ER4S (with shure olives) I like it better than my Tomahawk (although I like the Tomahawk better for my test q-JAYS, so it kind of evens out, I guess).

Tried them but I had to stop using them since my ears got so sore I couldn't use my IEMs at all for a number of days.
