Epic score: A vintage Marantz PCD520 (PCDP)

I haven't posted for a while, sold my iPod to return to the CD era thanks to my good ol' S370.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, behold this:

A Marantz PCD520 vintage portable CD player!
All-metal construction. The top plate, back plate, CD tray and the frame is all-metal. Even the battery compartment hatch is metal. The machine is weighty. Awesome.
From what I can gather here on Head-Fi, this machine is a clone of the Philips AZ6808, which in turn is basically the Philips AZ6829.
Seriously. I'm not making that last part up. Source.
This Marantz uses the same Mitsubishi and Motorola chips seen in that post. Not sure about the DAC since I did not dare further disassembly.
Oh, and I had to get a PSU and a Torx screw (seriously, Marantz) kit from RatShack.
But everything works fine.
Epic score for me.

Nice! Vintage PCDP has the best SQ.
