I just got one of these for my travel kit for my Sony NW-HD5, and while it says it will charge Silver, RAZR and Blackberry phones that have mini USB jacks, I wonder if it is safe to also use as a portable charger for my DAP's too.

Has anyone used this with their DAP's and if so, how well did it perform??? And would it be safe to use with my HD5?

I use something similar made by panasonic, and it works just fine for charging my cell phone and ipod.

I saw one of these at KMart for charging iPods:

The $30 asking price isn't too bad, but I wanted to see some competeing products if anyone knows of any. It seems to be something I'd use.

I don't know if this is any good for your Sony mate, but it worked a treat on my old Meizu. You can use it to recharge your players battery or just use it as a battery pack- very handy indeed. Have a shop round to, i am sure you ca pick these up realy cheap from various sources.
