i am not sure which card i should go for, these are the sound cards that are in my budget and i need help decideing. i barely play games, only cs once in a while so it would be aimed more towards music, i am currently using a LOgitech Z-2300 for speakers, and i have the MS-1 and PA2V2 coming in shortly so i need help on which sound card would suit me most.

Thanks

Have you used the audiophile 2496 before?

It should be a pretty decent card.

You can attach adapters to your existing cables that convert the RCA plug into a phone jack. They are cheap as well.

Why would you need to keep switching wires? If you have an integrated, just plug the headphone amp into the tape loop and use the switch on the integrated to select which source to use. If you have two amps but no tape loop then you'll need an audio switch box. These are also relatively inexpensive.
