I bought the Empire Ears - Supra II about 5 months ago,
I've used them perhaps a dozen times tops.

I tried them on different sources (high end to low).
In one word. They're just.. boring!
they always sounded.. lifeless.

There's practically no low end, so it feels like there are more mids.
The sound reminds me of those cheap white earphones you get with the iPhone (ok maybe not that bad..)

When I first received them I thought maybe there was something wrong with them, so I contacted EE,
they were very responsive, we exchanged some emails,
they told me to send them back for inspection which I did.
They didn't find anything wrong with them.
They asked if they fit well. They did.
I thought maybe they used cheaper components on the Supra,
but EE assured me that they use the same drivers on all their models.

Fast forward to today.. I decided to give them another chance..
I'm still unimpressed.

I'm disappointed because:
- I had read a lot of great things about the (previous) EarWerkz Supra.
- those were my first custom IEMs and I had high hopes. I have cheaper earphones that sound much much better.
- and lastly they're not cheap. ($430 USD + $65 for shipping).

Best part is, I can't sell them, lol.

thanks, unfortunately I don't have an X5 (or a Mojo).

I really wanted to like the Supra II but to my ears they just sounded flat / boring.

I wish I went with my first choice, 64 Audio..

Supra II's sound signature is flat. If you want more bass then you should try Spartan or Athena. I got the Supra 2 (universal with ADEL) just because I wanted a flat sound signature.

Actually, they are more bright than flat. The spartans are the most flat and more bass would go to the athena and hermes
