I'm a little worried about the rest of the spectrum though... And this is personal, but I don't like the looks... . But may give them a go if a good deal pops up, as I like bass heavy IEMs and headphones. Thx for the reminder!

It has great treble too but yeah if you like more forward upper mids, then I’d say there’s better options around

Yeah the IE 900 is the only IEM I've heard that doesn't make me miss LX bass. And I daresay it's a little 'cleaner' too.

I have them both. I actually just now started enjoying the EST50 after final burn in and finding the right tips.

But the answer to your question is easy:

LX is the best.

I actually PM'd Jack V. and asked for a "ballpark" price of the EVO. The response was "more than LX, less than Odin". Now that's a ballpark price (or is it? LOL).
