The power issue with iPhones is such a disappointment. Sometimes I wish I had gone the Samsung Galaxy route but I’m so invested now in iCloud that the transition would be brutally painful. If only they made a Mojo Mini with 3.5/4.4/USB-C ports!!
When I started in the hobby a few years back, I used an Fiio Q5 external DAC/amp from my iPhone as I swore I would never spend the money for a DAP. And you can guess what eventually happened, started with an A&K SR15 and then got a SP1KM. And then got some high end cables and then further down the rabbit hole.

Looks like the typical UM cases... very useful
Indeed, UM's cases are made by Dignis as well. I love the Arca, but I'm not the biggest fan of the diamond-shaped pocket sewn in the middle. If you're using a thick, aftermarket cable, you have to coil them pretty tight to get them to fit. But, if you're using one of EE's stock cables from Effect Audio, then it should fit just fine.

You can fold that diamond and make a single side to separate the IEMs only. But… yeah… even doing that, for thick cables will be tight.B9649303-525E-4EE5-A307-CC89D3D4AC07.jpeg

I use a $10 Caseling hardshell case from Amazon, which holds two transluscent $2 plastic puck twist lid cases in which I keep my two IEMs permanently cabled and stored in CA pouches safely and without putting any strain on any of the connectors or cables. The case also has a mesh pocket where my DAP goes should I want to pack the entire system up together, though it usually just sits on top of the case, on my bedside table, for easy access.

What do y’all store your IEMs in? I have this pouch for my LXs and am going to buy another one for my Odins unless there’s something better.
Just wrap the cable around iems and throw it in a picket with keys.

At least you will have custom face plates eventually😄

Talking about scratches, has anyone ever managed to scratch that EE laquer?
I mean i wear my LX every day for almost a year now and not a sign lol. Yes i am looking after them. I dont even let the hang on my neck to rub against each other lol. But still a year of use is a year of use, especially when i use them at work, while commuting and when around in a city, and they are like new.

Really impressed.
