Is there a dedicated forum for the LX? I’m trying to figure out if I should stick with the ARES II/Maestro cables or upgrade to something else to make these sound even better. Thanks.
This is the cable I run with my custom LX... Level 4 SPC litz.. best synergy I have found yet.

Those faceplates are just stunning to look at!

Thank you, I agree. I was fortunate enough to have the unicorn @JoshWatkins QC them. As you can tell, he dripped the swag heavy on them.
He definitely did! He worked wonders on this one.

Had it briefly and it was indeed excellent. Incredible staging and micro detail. MSEB helped with midbass slam a bit too :)
Is that how R8 transformed it? From what i remember Odins midbass was not star of the show and it subbass was more pronounced. And because R8 thichens midbass and low mids a bit it should work well with Odins energetic upper mid boost, which i feel like R8 really benefits from. And i cant even imagine how good staging is. Must me open back level lol

They both have the same configuration so I'm wondering why the change. I even prefer the original universal shell (Legend X, ESR, Nemesis, etc.) over this new shell (Odin, Hero, MKII series).
Yep I noted that in my Bravado II first impressions. Not sure why they needed to go with the bigger shells when the 7-driver LX fits into the smaller shells. Probably because of tooling and to keep things consistent, though the smaller shells and shorter nozzles are so much more comfortable.

Speaking of synergy... I am running the Odin out of the Lotoo S1 right now using a MacBook Pro and Apple Music...

It's literally 95% of the way to full on lossless sound. Incredible forgiveness for such an elite IEM. Compressed music isn't at all ruined, the Odin still presents the sound as it should.

As others have mentioned, it helps that the S1 is one heck of a beast in-and-of-itself. I finished my upcoming S1 review with the ODIN as the test IEM. As you said, it barely bottlenecks the ODIN, which is a great achievement for both pieces of gear.

I get an custom cable for the LX with red indicator. But on my LX there is no indicator for plus minus? With the Effect Audio Ares II I plugged in that the logos are parallel to the Empire logo. Can someone explain?

This is how I connect the plugs:

I guess you will need the guy that made the cable to tell you which side is right. usually the 2 pin has a "cut" on one of the sides of the black portion (where the two pins sit). that is a good indication to the right position as well. On EA that cuts points outside/faceplate.

other option is if the IEMs are now sounding weird, it's probable inverted.
