I like them, too, but they are a bit hard to pronounce. I've got students with Mexican Indian names and it takes a bit to get them right.

While Apple Tree Man...... though it translates to Píngguǒ shù rén in Chinese, which isn't quite as elegant. Or maybe it is.

They should give it for free to anyone who can pronounce it!! :wink:
We actually stayed in a log-cabin type hotel at the foot of this volcano the first time I visited Iceland, not very long after it grounded hundreds of flights. When we collected our rental vehicle and the guy working there found out where we were staying, he taught us to pronounce it. Sounds nothing like it looks to the English-speaking person's expectation!

I'm sure my free IEM is already on it's way to me 🤣
