Almost as happy as when i heard LXnice pic, you look so happy
Apologies for the late pics. Click on thumbnails for higher res
Translucent royal purple shells, custom sig engraving, abalone nacre faceplate with translucent royal purple acrylic layer above.
Drummer seal fit absolutely nailed it. The hornbell type tip nozzle is a true guardian angel vs ear wax. Deeply appreciate it.
My Legend X ciems do stick out more than the Zeus XIV/R I had, but mind you the extra purple layer on faceplate adds a bit.
The tiny DAP matching the Legend X on the pics is the Shanling M0
Going to give it a bit of time before sharing sound impressions
I have 5 customs and use non of it due to fit related sound or comfort issues so id never go down that route especially that my last 4,5 unis are semi custom fit just like the LX, absolutely zero issues.
I have just ordered the double spinfits following @Sound Eq posts.
I find the large Finals are great for me and deepest bass, Spiral dots are actually good, but no point, bit less bass, tried some Sony, not sure what they are called, the latest filled on inside ones, fine too, but again Finals are top sound and never ever discomfort. Spent £20 on 2 sizes of the cp240 but not sure itll work for me, double ones or triples have never given me a good fit or sound tho these do look different
It did mask the iridescence of the nacre a lot. That's the beauty of abalone mother of pearls, even in low light conditions they still shine. The photos I took were in the brightest daylight of one of the best warmy sunny days we could hope for here in Belgium. Otherwise they do look quite dark, almost can't discern the nacre. Sort of like the shots you see of the Noble Wizard ciems. Lots of details under flash photography, but they'd look dark and more 'bland' in real life.Beautiful! I love how the purple acrylic visually binds the faceplate to the rest of the shell, whilst retaining the unique texture of the abalone underneath.
Top ones in London, but its always a gray area and no major problems really, but never felt right enough somehow,Crikey! Same audiologist or different ones?
Didn’t realize it’s single bore now. Did something change? Or was it single bore from the start?
no no it is still 4 bores but recessed inside that cavity. Think of it like an acrylic eartip
Yes,Does anyone know if the Phantom is like this as well or is it just the Legend?
