Folks in the UK, how much import tax did you pay when you ordered from EE?. About to order my bravado's and would like to factor in the cost to have an idea on how much I'll be spending in total.

"Midrange textures can also sound hard and brittle. Hard textures are apparent on massed voices; a choir sounds glassy, shiny, and synthetic. This problem gets worse as the choir's volume increases. At low levels, you may not hear these problems. But as the choir swells, the sound becomes hard and irritating. Piano is also very revealing of hard midrange textures, the higher notes sounding annoyingly brittle. When the midrange lacks these unpleasant artifacts, we say the textures are liquid, smooth, sweet, velvety, and lush."

Perfect, thanks for this! :)

Gentlemen. Should I pull the trigger on the Bravado? For the same price I could get two pairs of low-mid range budget IEMs (ex: Campfire Orion, Sony MDR7550, Shure SE425, MD+ or something else..)

However, my IEMs sound like garbage after listening to the Bravado.

Also, how's the quality of Empire Ears warranty? I don't expect Etymotic level customer service from everyone, however, their IEMs are pricy.

The Bravado's are excellent for the money and better than most I've tried in that price range. EE's standard warranty is one year for universals and two for customs. You can check the full details here: https://empireears.com/pages/warranty. As far as customer service is concerned, Empire provide some of the best in the business with guys like @Ethan Groover and @Jack Vang who are available most days of the week.

I have the ex800/7550 and the bravado the bravado is definitely a better all rounder.

orion (i used to own) is not even close, MD+ is more linear but imo, not on the same level as the Bravado. 425 is even less accomplished than the orion.

Custom Art Fibae 2 might be a fairier fight

As Deezal said, I'm available almost any time of the week if you need an answer to a question, ever need to send IEMs in for repair, or are interested in purchase!

Picked up a Legend X from B/S/T, should arrive some time next week. Can't wait to compare them to my u18t. Loved all the positive reviews I've seen from them and I'm really looking forward to hearing them for myself. :)

Definitely my end game pair if I had the coin. For now, I'll stick with my CA Polaris :)

Thanks! You guys sold me. I put a deposit on a pair and will be in-store next week to pick them up. I had a chance to try them again today and they're incredible. Let's just say I'm blown away by the extension and quantity of bass, the clearness of the mids and the clean treble. I don't think I can get better at this price range.

More photos and impressions next week.

First impressions from my just arrived (Music Sanctuary x Effect Audio) Eos Cable with my Zeus XR

+ : Even more improved clarity/transparency than my pw5 (which sounds a bit grainy in comparison with the Eos cable) , the bass also sounds more tight and the soundstage is even more expanded (deeper & wider) - very pleased so far with it (great value for money)
- : I get slight hiss when connecting it with the DAP (SONY WM1A) , it is not much hearable when music plays so all is well i guess ( did you notice this too @Deezel177 with the cable? )

to sum it up , Zeus now sounds even more TOTL-ish than before and i am curious how much better it would be with an even more TOTL cable like pw1960s (don' go there , bad bad bad)

thanx again to @Kozato for helping out , should i expect any burn-in down the road ?

Zeus is a great CIEM , love this little bugger
