Offer back on. 20% off and 35% off stock universals.

Thanks to Black Friday 2017, I have purchased my first custom IEM. It is literally the best iem that I have ever purchased, perhaps the most expensive one too. LOL

The "greed" starts when you cross 1960 4-wire territory, or go for Horus :D
I thought our "greed" started long time ago since we got past the $100 IEM line.

curious what's EE cooking on the flagship front , seeing that Zeus is still going very strong sales-wise while popularity-wise Zeus stands now where K10 was 3-4 years ago (as the most popular ciem atm)

Afterwards, the K10 is still going so well, but quickly, that I receive my Zeus to confine them.
I will have a hard time selling my K10, it's a pair that goes with all styles of music.

I think EE is going to a mid-tier $1000 - 1500-ish product that performs similarly to the Zeus by implementing what they have learnt with the Zeus into a lower cost model. This allows more people to share the experience of great music at a more affordable level.

It has been half a week since I ordered the Zeus-XR. I can't prevent my self-going back to the shop and demo the Zeus again and again. Even with my SP1000SS + Andromeda combo, it felt like I am missing so much detail, resolution and I am not able to produce an image of the stage with precise instrument position. I am addicted...

I hope the CIEM Spartan IV Adel would sound like the tier of $1K (it actually costs little over $1K though!).

With the SP1000SS you are going to get a lot of detail and a lot of upper treble. I found that a copper cable works a bit better than did the silver plated copper cable (for my tastes). You may feel differently, but the SS is pumping out a LOT of detail and the XR can deliver it. If you are still demo'ing see if you can try both cables. I also got a Uni, so can change tone with tips (Comply Isolation's give the best fullness and my new Final Audio silicone E's give the best transparency). Also, I find myself switching from X to R depending on what I'm listening to. Lots of choices when it comes to sound signature. :)
