I'm teasing the logo like EVE in VEGreat catch, but it looks more like EVO to me.

Ooo I think it’s a weapon 10? Roman numeral for “X”Yup, the link to the Facebook post confirms that it has W9+ in it.
Oh, yeah, that's true! I completely missed that. How intriguing...Ooo I think it’s a weapon 10? Roman numeral for “X”
Battle of the double DD’s and Estats with VE? I’m giddy at the thoughtOh, yeah, that's true! I completely missed that. How intriguing...
Also, here comes the parade of Wolverine-related jokes. It's a shame he was never considered an Omega-level mutant in the comics. That would've been a nice callback to the Legend Omega from EE's EarWerkz days.Battle of the double DD’s and Estats with VE? I’m giddy at the thought
Developing a driver from the ground up is a hellacious task but it's what needs to be done when you want to break barriers.

Which begs the question: What other drivers are in the Empire skunkworks for the weapon series?Developing a driver from the ground up is a hellacious task but it's what needs to be done when you want to break barriers.
Exciting times!
From what I know, total will be 8 drivers

Update after 90-minute session with my custom LX today: (2nd day with my new toy)
No fit issues! At this point, I am pretty convinced that my initial post (yesterday) reporting fit issue was actually user error. I probably irritated my ear canals by not being careful inserting the IEMs.
I would like to apologize to @Jack Vang and the rest of the EE team members for my premature post yesterday!

I wanted to add to my initial LX sound impressions:
After 6-7 hours of combined burn-in and actual listening to, I think the bass is starting to tighten a little. I am sure that will continue to improve even more...
Also, as others have said before me - despite the HUGE bass when called for, it feels just right and very nicely connected to the mids without bleeding into the mids!
To try and illustrate with pictures, I think many people (who have not auditioned the LX) imagine it would be the equivalent of this:
Whereas I think the LX is more like:
(obviously, the wheels represent the bass...)
