Doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
Hence why I have both on me. But I also consider a TV a TV and a computer monitor a computer monitor.
If you come you may get to audition the AK320. I haven't had the chance to yet, but looking to listen back to back and add it to the QP1R review. Hope to see you there.
What's that supposed to mean?
People use computer monitors to watch TV and some use TV's for monitors. I just use things for what they are made for, even though I have a 27" monitor with 2560x1440 resolution, i wouldn't trade my 55" TV for that.
Always enjoy talking you with thats for sure. If Jason rocks the food and I dont make it, have some for me.
The AK320 sounds like a very promising DAP to me!
Most definitely, likewise! And I'll make sure to get extra full for you if you don't make it!
Welcome to Head-Fi!
For $1,800 USD, I would expect it to be pretty good. We will see (or in this case, hear), how it sounds compared to the AK380 and the QP1R.
Thank you! My only wish for these beautifully made devices is that the prices could be more affordable. I would like to hear more impressions on the AK320 first before jumping on the bandwagon.
Just wanted to show off my Spartans. Got these during the BF sale but never posted cause I couldn't get any good pics. Sending em off for maint. next week so I thought forget it, I'll post them anyway.
They're clear with silver CF / smoke with black CF plates.
Beautiful~ Love the carbon fibre faceplates.
There are a lot of other DAPs in the market that cost a lot less than the AK320 that are very capable of delivering beautiful sounding music to your ears. Check out reviews of lower priced DAPs such as the X7 (one of my favorite Android-enabled DAPs) and the QP1R (the most detailed, clear and resolute DAP I've listened to).
Pair your smartphone with a moko maybe?
The AK240SS did not drive the Zeus properly in my opinion. Sound was congested. AK DAPs tend to be a bit weak powered, and I find the Zeus benefits from more grunt. Sounded much better with LPG (despite hiss) or Mojo.
