Never bought from them (their ads at Audiogon kinda turn me off

), but they sure do have a lot of positive feedback.

I've emailed them regarding service availability, they answered very quickly & politely, stated there's service available in CA & CT. I'll finally get to audition one Saturday, if I decide to buy I'm thinking of using them... Unless I hear someone's had a bad experience with them.

That's because if you buy something from her she won't leave you alone until you post feedback on her site.

I bought my HD600's from her in an ebay auction. Good price, and great headphones even if they didn't arrive as quickly as I had hoped. The communication was rapid, helpful and professional. I just got tired of the "feedback requests".

Edit:
I bought my HD600's before I knew about Jan at Meier Audio. Knowing what I know now, I think I'd buy them from him -- to support a Head-Fi sponser, plus his price is very competetive.

I've heard know that some people here ordered their EMPs from Sound Emporium. . . their names escape me. Anyway, I haven't heard negative comments about them. . .

I've dealt with them before and my experience was great.

I can't recall the name of the sales lady but she was very friendly and polite. Email replies were more than prompt and kept me updated on my order status continually, even after I've received my product (follow up).

My experience: I asked whether they would accept a credit card. In response I received a 20-paragraph email with the cc info buried in paragraph 10--paypal cc only, as it turned out. I emailed back to ask why the vital info was in para 10 instead of up front where I could have found it, and got mildly flamed. So...hasta la vista.

She told me to either send two blank postal money orders, or one made out to her name, but the latter would take five days to clear. (shrugs)

I know they have a good rep at audiogon but this is wierd, and I don't take lightly to waiting 5 days for a M/O to clear. No EMP for me I guess.

I've never heard of waiting for a money order to clear, but they do state that clearly in their Audiogon ad.

Don't know what's going on with the blank money order thing though...

Thanks, I may check it out.

She emailed back a short catty response, and then later a longer explanation.

I do see see her point to a certain extent. Being a small operation, she can't afford to take a loss on even one item I guess. She's worried about forgeries and stopped M/Os. They definitely have a great track record at audiogon.

I'll think about it tonight, while I go and tip the ole' elbow a bit...
