I recently noticed that the two A/C outlets in my bedroom are not grounded; I had assumed they were grounded. Whenever I turn on my audio system and play music, I can hear background hiss. Is this due in part to the fact that I am plugging my audio gear into an A/C outlet that is not properly grounded? Will grounding my A/C outlets eliminate the hiss? Thank you.
