Element Technology Headquarters, Singapore, Mar 25th, 2022 – Eletech, a highly innovative designer & atelier of boutique high-end audiophile cables unveiled a new series “Dante” with it’s accompanying all-new “Inferno” Headphone Cable.

”Dante Series” represents Eletech’s first foray into the realm of full sized Headphone cable. Inspired off the works of Dante Alighieri, Eletech’s “Dante Series” heavily features themes from the epic poem.

”Dante Series” explores an entirely different approach to crafts and geometry, achieving a perfect blend that is most suitable for Headphones usage. “Inferno” was born from months of ceaseless experiments and prototyping and the final result is an exemplary new cable structure that bolsters Headphones setup, elevating it to a whole new level of performance.

As opposed to Eletech’s usual multi-core cabling geometry, thinner wire strands that’s optimized for IEM cables, the “Inferno” offers a full 21 AWG gauge of high purity materials per signal (+ / -), per side, allowing a highly transparent sound signature while showing off unique characteristics from the unique blend.

Eletech’s Stellar Performance

Since Eletech’s debut in 2019, the experienced ateliers have enjoyed widespread successes across their entire product portfolio with their unorthodox entry cables housed with “Virtues Series”, high performing reference grade “School Of Athens Series” as well as their class leading “Parnassus” series.

With the release of “Dante” Series, Eletech brought over their experience in the cable design into the realm of Headphones, bringing about a fresh approach to the traditional Headphones cabling. Eletech’s R&D team has started the “Inferno” project in 2020 and spent 2 grueling years prototyping a myriad of variations before settling on the “Duality” geometry that performs splendidly for full sized desktop set ups. With the “Inferno”, Eletech offers a Copper configuration that’s capable of commanding technicalities yet retaining as a emotive piece.

Background & Inspiration

Eletech “Inferno” is inspired off the “Dante’s Inferno” with key components design drawing reference from the darker theme of the poem. With the Y-split opting to go with a special low profile dark obsidian black that limits the reflection of light ; Paired with brushed gunmetal finish to achieve a rugged, tamed yet classy finish.

Traversing a radical approach to materials usage and configuration, Eletech resolves to achieve a masterclass Copper experience that has an abysmal note weight and depth while having enamoring musicality, emotive notes and precise stereo imaging.

Design & Form Development

The Aesthetics and form development of “Inferno” explores the theme of “Inferno” wherein it’s portrayed with a darker tone with choice of obsidian black as the Y-split of choice. The Y-Split is designed with reference to the human teeth bone structure patterns, with geometrical multifaceted cuts to offer a suitable tactile experience. Unlike the usual Eletech IEM Y-Splits, the “Inferno” utilizes one that is more compact and cuts down on the heft considerably.

Technology & Features

The “Inferno” is a project that displays a highly emotive and musical presentation while offering highly surreal stereo imaging and micro details. Its dual shielded layers allow for it to offer a very dark yet transparent background.

”Inferno” is the first in Eletech’s collection of cables to offer a dual full core design wherein each signal path (+ / -) is fed with a highly efficient complete 21 AWG gauge core packed with high purity copper. This in turn allows for an abysmal note weight and depth for the signature presentation.

The new geometry allows for 2 different strand sizes to be incorporated within a single core. Eletech takes advantage of this geometry by using a comparatively thinner strand of copper to bolster the high frequencies as well as a thicker one to bolster the mids and lows. By achieving a right balance, the highs extensions are elevated while the copper signatory layered decay and impact of the lows are preserved.

To achieve the targeted sound profile, the “Inferno” uses a unique blend of 2 types of prevailing audiophile high purity copper and is being shielded on 2 layers to allow pitch black background darkness and accentuate details in the forefront. The inner layer uses a fibre-ceramic shielding while the outermost layer, a OFC shielded net that rejects EMF.

I've included some impressions of the cable in our CanJam Singapore 2022 preview video, which will be out in a couple of days. And, those impressions just happen to have been taken with the Atrium. If you sub to Head-Fi's YT channel, you'll know as soon as that's up.

In the meantime I'll simply say this: Nordost could learn a thing or two from this cable. :relaxed:
