42:53    Being completely serious. It actually wasn't that bad after the first 15 minutes or so. Pretty proud that I had the self control to not turn it off. I could have done the full hour but I have things to get done tonight. Really interested in hearing other people's times.

00:00:9, and i was annoyed right from the start

just in case no-one has heard of Tim Hecker.

Try this for size from 2012. MT I know you will like it! It's ambient/drone noise at its most beautiful and interesting. Plus sound quality is up there with the best eletronic.

Full AIFF. This could be a fun one for the remixers here.

Nice.  Might actually have to try Mashups at some point, but I would need some more acapellas.

Though my software is extremely basic (no beat matching, etc.) so I have to do all my mixes manually.  Which is why I haven't tried a mashup yet.

Here's something different... anyone have anything that resembles ritualistic, almost occult and organic sounding percussive-based music with a dark atmosphere? Something like this.Sorry if this doesn't belong here!

Actually that is pretty interesting.  I can't say that I know of any close to that.  You may like this tribal DnB someone posted a few pages back - think it was Apo0th3karY.

I just got this downtempo / psy dub release last night. It is available in free lossless or MP3 download here:

Free is good!

I started out digging that, but I think I can only take so much Psy.  I had to turn it off and not because it did anything wrong (still had a nice flow when I stopped) ...just i dunno, needed a break.

Yup, good stuff on there. My favorite is probably Starlight, then maybe The Scientist.

Yup, agree.  Starlight then Scientist.

Free Chillstep

FLAC/ALAC/320MP3 (and more)

Not quite my thing but was an interesting side play (Chill Hip Hop) to mix things up.  Good flow, just not crazy on the lyrics.

Was listening to my favourite 8tracks.com compiler and this song came on and I was blown away.
Wonderful drum and bass track. Just listen for that great sweeping sub bass drone.

Another I heard that I fell in love with.

i was blown away by that koven track. i hate downloading individual songs and making them into a playlist, i usually just wait for an ep/album, but in kovens case, i may make an exception.
i hate acapellas, and i think were all agreed that starlight is the best track, i prefer onetwothree to scientist though. to each his own =]
