I do listen to techno, on occasion. Leonard Hummer's first album for example is brilliant – and free. Labels like Aura Music and Molecule Recordings also release really nice dark melodic techno on occasion. I must say, however, that when it comes to all things techy, I am much more inclined toward tech house. When it's done right, I'll likely take a well executed tech house tune over just about any techno track out there. The one below for example tickles my ear bones the right way.

Well, what I've posted was Techno (Industrial Techno to be exact).
I'm not really into electronic music as much as Metal for example, but I know and like some Techno. Also, it makes great walking music during evenings and the more cloudy days...

Damn, that's actually a really good song. Repeat mode: on!
Do you listen to any drum and bass? I think you'll like Neurofunk (Dark DnB) give this song a listen:

You may know Spor as Feed Me, the electronic house producer. I don't know why he quit Spor but I very much prefer his old, classic DnB tunes to those new electro ones.

in order, for those who care about the whole genre thing:
minimal techno (plastikman aka richie hawtin)
detroit techno (rhythim is rhythim aka derrick may),
IDM (not techno) from the one and only aphex twin
3 gems in their respective genres I might add, considering the influence those records have had even until these days.

giving credit where credit is due,
this is very nice album. unexpected from him to deliver such a nice work, definitely his best in his 10+ years of activity.

I know you guys are too good to listen to Skrillex (Only kidding! Don't start a hate train lol.
) but his debut album just came out and I quite like it. A lot of experimentation. Some classic Skrill and some cool new stuff. If only there were more tracks...

I like a few of the tracks but I'm not a fan of all the trap-like influences. Too much emptiness that's only "filled" with bass. Gotta give him some respect for changing it up though, I would have never guessed this album was Skrillex's work 2 years ago.

I quite enjoy Trap when it's done well, but most of time it isn't. I really like Dirty Vibe aside from the rap though. Honestly I don't really care about genre so much as I do the song itself, you know? I mean, I don't care if it's "Happy Hardcore with Trap and Brostep influences" if I enjoy the tune. I still don't like most of the vocals though, some of them feel like obscenities were thrown in to be "edgy" when anything else would have worked instead.
