Hey EA!

Your cables are always an eye catcher for sure. I got an EE Legend X, which is equipped with Ares ii. Unfortunately the cable has some tracks of oxidation and I am looking for a replacement. I also got a Cleopatra, but this is a bit too smooth for me and fits better with my VE EXTs. So which one of these would you recommend to match with the Legend X Sound signature? Thanks.

Hi Steff,

Thanks for your message, please send in email to info@effectaudio.com and lets see what we can help from there.

I would suggest to go for Ares S, if you wanna bring more energy and power to it.

Or Eros S will gives more detail, space and clarity at the same time maintains the current bass and mids that delivers by LX.

I ordered the Eros S yesterday and I am really excited about the cable. Effect Audio recommend the Cadmus, but I never had A hybrid cable, maybe this is the one I am looking for. 🤩
Eros S favors the treble region while the Cadmus is lively but a bit more tamed, on the other side, Cadmus has a more voluminous lower end with a heavier punch. Fohe mids, Cadmus has a more realistic vocal presentation. Hope this helps.

Your impression surprises me, because I read this review, which is going in another direction. But thank you, maybe I‘ll order the Cadmus as well. Because there is a 7 day return policy nowadays.

Received my cables, the Cadmus looks the same as Plussound Exo SPC cable.
The length of cable is true to spec. 1.2m tip to tip, this is a bit shorter than my other cables,
most are a few cm longer.
Cable build is great. the ConX comes in handy as I happen to have pentaconn ear connector IEM.
The plastic wrap on connectors is a bit tough to get off, maybe a plastic plug cap will serve better?

edit: Cadmus cable is a bit thicker than Plussound's that I mentioned.

Between the cadmus and the Plussound, which do you think is better in terms of sound?
