Between the cadmus and the Plussound, which do you think is better in terms of sound?
I don’t compare cables, I replace stock cable mostly because they look cheap, or they don’t come with 4.4mm terminal,
except the one on UM Mest 2.
maybe some days when I am curious about that myself, but I really don’t expect much difference.

Got to try the latest Effect Audio Eros S cable yesterday courtesy of a friend. Tried it with the CA Solaris OG, Sennheiser IE600, 64Audio Fourte, Shuoer S12, and a few more IEMs.

My short impressions(Spent only a few hours).

Super solid build quality, It matches the beautiful PW Audio 1950S in terms of aesthetics. No Microphonic issues of any kind, feels like a huge upgrade over the stock IE600 cable. Specifically found the IE600 to open in terms of the stage with the Eros S and also have a slightly cleaner background. Bass on the Solaris OG feels a tad bit tighter, and the stage is open in comparison to the Kinera Leyding that I am currently using.

Main pros noticed:-
>Stage feels expanded compared to the stock cable of IE600 and Leyding on Solaris OG.
>Background becomes cleaner, feels like I was having a little bit of hiss with the Kinera Leyding on the Solaris OG.
>On stock cable IE600 puts emphasis on the Sub-bass region, with Eros S feels more balanced.

A short con:-
The memory hook is kind of stiff maybe because the cable was new(my friend got it yesterday only).

Overall liked it a lot, I was looking for an upgrade cable for my IE600, feels like Eros S is going to be the one. Although I will have to buy two of these because I will put one on Solaris too.(I don't disconnect MMCX again and again so need separate for both lol). Although the purchase will have to wait as I spent my money recently on other gears :frowning2:.

While my shipment is currently on the way, I again got a chance to try out the @EffectAudio Eros S courtesy of my friend. Man absolutely loved this cable, a perfect match for many of my IEMs. After my first trial, I bought the Eros S and Cadmus S(Currently in transit, expected in 2 days). It brings drastic improvements with my Softears RSV and my friend's Monarch MK2. Better dynamics, Better resolution, and better clarity compared to the stock cable of both the sets.

TBH after listening to the Softears RSV with the Eros S, I feel the stock cable to be bland sounding. I mean it just shows better energy, and a more lively signature with the EROS S. Will try to shoot unboxing too once I receive my package. Can't wait for mine to arrive soon now hehe.

Here are some images for you guys!!

An update on my experience with the Eros S & Cadmus!!

As the people following this blog might be aware that I absolutely adore the Eros S even before I got my own units. I was so excited about both the Cadmus and the Eros S./ while originally planning Eros S for my IE600, I ended up liking the Cadmus more with it. Eros S is fantastic but brings a lot of details and makes the treble snappy on the IE600. But I knew the capabilities of Eros S, and had tried it briefly with the Monarch MK2 too. Who knew where will I like it?

Fast Forward a few days and I got my new shipment consisting of the Softears RSV. While the original cable was decent enough with the set, I tried Eros S with it, and ever since then, they both have become two bodies, one soul. The pairing, the synergy of Softears RSV with the Eros S is so good that I felt like the Stock cable was meh at best. Bland would be a polite way to tell you guys how the stock cable feels now with the RSV. Eros S has filled the pair with so much life, so many details, yet it doesn't lose its character by any means. RSV has slowly grown on to me now, it has an absolutely brilliant midrange, and vocals just pop out with amazing clarity. Eros S has made its bass response a tad bit tighter than the stock but the treble is a lot more energetic and lively. Believe me, I don't even know where have i thrown the stock cable of RSV. That's the beauty of RSV with a soft, slightly dark treble-tuned IEM.

Coming forward to the Cadmus!!

As I stated earlier, I was planning to put Eros S on the IE600/Solaris and will see for the Cadmus. But the synergy of Cadmus with IE600 and Solaris has been so good that I just couldn't decide which one to put it on. So I basically sold the Solaris(was actually thinking to get another unit of Cadmus for it). About the sonic impressions, Cadmus has a tighter bass presentation in comparison to the Eros S. Eros S retrieves better details, and Cadmus gives you a smooth treble response. It's smooth, not dark or dull by any means. Tonally, I would say the Cadmus performs about 80-85% of the Eros, Both of these are fantastic cables. Now it can depend on what you would like and what you want to pair the cables with.

IMO for natural to bright sounding sets, Cadmus is the way to go, and for smooth, slightly dark sounding sets, Eros S is the way to go. I have no experience with the Ares S but planning to get it once I save some money(literally spent a lot recently lol). Hope you guys liked my write up, please leave me a like if you do :)

Thank You!!
