Volume control

We use an active volume control design and get a lot of sound quality benefit specifically from this design. After using this design, we can make a regular cheap volume control sound like a expensive stepped attenuators. The only weakness of active volume control is that there is unbalanced and noisy sound at very low volume (lower than 7 oclock, but normal volume level for listening is 8 to 9 o'clock). If your source volume can be adjusted, you can lower the volume of your source to solve this problem.
