I see your ad from October.
So maybe moot point by now, but WA5 has plenty of power for Abyss. Have to adjust settings properly though.
I had both Headtrip and Abyss and sold the Headtrip because the WA5 sounds better.
However I am using Takatsuki 300B tubes with Tung Sol 6SN7 NOS and Sophia Princess 274B.
So significant tube upgrades.

Pretty sure you want the settings:
Speaker Hi Power
Impedance Low
Level High
But no doubt you know that.
What tubes are you using?
Will reiterate Wa5 has a lot more finesse than the Headtrip.
Headtrip is great but a little hard around the edges compared to the WA5.
I use a Modwright Oppo 95 transport with a Yggdrasil DAC via balanced connects. The balanced connects probably give it a little more oomph.

For power tubes I've tried only the stock tubes. For rectifier tubes I've tried, stock tubes,s1950 RCA smooth plates, GZ32, 1980 egg beaters, Brimar 5Z4GY and a few others. As for driver tubes.... you name it and for the most part I've tried them or own them. I have the Tung Sol round plates but in the 6F8G. Maybe the 6SN7's are different idk.... I love my WA5 and no tube sounds anywhere close to bad in this amp unlike the WA2 and WA22. With those amps you NEED good tubes for the amp to shine. I have to be honest in saying that I cannot hear that much difference in the WA5 like I could with the other Woo Audio amps I've had.

I think the Tung Sol 6F8G and the 6SN7 have the exact same internal structure but the glass shape is the only difference. I tried the 6F8G once but got a couple duds I think.

I'm in San Diego.
In fact I am thinking of selling my head gear because I mostly listen to speaker systems.
