300B tubes are rather expensive. Are you willing to make such a journey?

The pics are not loading for me or it's super slow. I only see a small portion of it. I'll try again later.

Mikey,

Do you think you could clarify what exactly craig's new line is going to be? You have said Dm-1, Dm-2 to replace hd25 andhd300. Then i remember you talking about the xana deus or something, and not this 300B. Then i remember you saying something about a moth sia23 remake or what not.

I would be really interested in checking out some of his new stuff, can you just clarify his new line, ill send him an email as well

QUOTE Craig:
The DM-1 will follow the Zana Deux which is scheduled for a short run release of ten pieces mid September.

The Moth Zana weighed 60 lbs, and the external power supply weighed about 45 lbs. I'm going to feature a production photo of the Zana on my Eddie site when I have the Zana Deux ready for release. The Zana Deux will be the same price as the DM-1, $895.00. It is a absolute polarity OTL design, and weighs in at about 20 lbs including the on board power transformer. It will drive Grado RS-1's, but I think the DM-1 or the EC2A3 is a better choice for low impedance cans.
QUOTE end.

The EC2a3 seems to be the current equivalent of the Moth s2a3. There is also a ED45, for the Moth s45. Both are about 1200.00.

The si2a3H is a maxed out 2a3, at least this was my impression when I ordered it. =o)
Nightfall has one. A search brings up some interesting impressions.

Which models will be in the official new line, I don't know.

Cheers

At $1200 an EC 2a3 would be a bargain in the headphone amp world. You want warm and lush tube sound, that is the amp. Mikey, I want mine back, please.

The only limitation is the cost of 2a3 tubes. When I sold it to Mikey, I had a matched pair of EH Gold Grids, I believe. For the money they were excellent. However, there are some out there that Craig has suggested that would really kick some butt that were just priced out of my range at the time.
