So I bought the item, paid, the seller was/is powerseller with no neg/neutral in last 6-12...
well shortly after I get the infamous message by eBay id for seller that the user is "no longer registered"..all emails have been unanswered with no communication.

I attempted to contact the person at eBay's request with their contact information with no success...Item was Paid through Paypal,

Has this happened to anyone recently? what did you do, or was the outcome? Eventually credited via Paypal or...

IF you paid via credit card through paypal, do a chargeback or claim fraud protection. Additionally, file for your money back with paypal

Thanks...

Will let everyone know how it goes, I still am confident it may ship soon...as with this guy being a Pwrsllr, it is not easy to get over 2000 mark with 99.9% and positive fb with no neg/neut in over a year...though not registered currently, these types of eBayers are pretty ethical..(generally these people pay their fines/fees or whatev's pretty fast, as they have much to lose/uphold)

recently i bought something off ebay. seller had <10 feedback and i won the item at a darn good deal. I was skeptical that the seller would just run away with my $$ and lose the feeback points. seller's account was created this year and is still fresh. the item was shipped by express mail and should be here by today but it wasnt...i couldn't get the tracking number either since he was rather busy (that's what he told me). he stated that the item will be shipped on/before the next the day of payment...but the item was actually shipped on late friday (2 days after i made the payment). parcel didn't move in weekends and that totally defeated express mail's purpose

I've lost (possibly) a parcel recently and was very paranoid abotu losing another one...I tried to be as polite as possible when enquiring the tracking #...I was close to saying that the parcel didn't come in time, I couldn't get the tracking #, i'm gonna file a complain and possible report it as cyber fraud...I even went and look for his detail on ebay and yellow pages (got his address and etc)......few mins later...he shot me a mail with the tracking and the parcel is now in my city...should be here by tomorrow.

sometimes, dealing on ebay is really scarry...I've gotta change paypal's default payment method to CC asap...at least if anything happens, i could get back most of the $$ with a charge back.
