I know its my photo because I made the cable and took the picture. The fact its part of my gallery and the full cable says my name on the ends pretty much makes me assume its my cable braid picture

Quite a few DIY builders "acquire" photos of other people's builds, and use them as an "example" of what their product(s)will be. IMO, they should at the very least ask for permission.

I cant believe this guy. He actually has the balls to tell you that he made it and its his work when its oviously stolen. I think notifying eBay should do the trick..

Isn't this some sort of copyright infringement?

That is most definitely your photo. I can pick out at least 10 undisputable matches between the pics.
