This is a great ss hp amplifier. I'd try it out, but i am quite broke at the moment. It used to reatail for around 800$...at the current price, it is a steal. It is supposed to sound similar to an emp. The seller is also listing the balanced cable that goes with it. Note that this is made for high-end sources, so your source will need balanced output.

please also note that this needs one of naim's proprietary power supplies and that "normal" psus won't work. fyi i believe the flatcap retails for $3.5k

just as a heads up.

ah, thanks for the warning carlo. So like naim to make products that are incompatible with anything but their own

actually, this unit retails in U.S. for $425; the $800 price is with the PSC power supply, which is required if one doesn't have one of the other (MUCH more expensive) Naim power supplies. It also requires a Naim preamp output, according to Naim. also note this unit is being sold in UK, so shipping will be significant.

Also, they don't use balanced cables, rather the old DIN-style ones, just to be awkward. The other lead he's selling is to join it to a Naim PSU
