Quite surprised that no thread exist on that little gem from the Earsonics pro line, especially since it holds very high value for money and is a totally stunning TOTL reference custom IEM with a superb build...

SPECIFICATIONS
Sensitivity: 127 dB/mW
Frequency response: 10 Hz -20 kHz
DCR: 44 ohms
Driver: 6 balanced armature drivers, HQ 3-way passive crossover with impedance corrector.

LARGE POWER HEADROOM:
The EM64 brings together the best of EarSonics « big driver » In-Ears range.
The EM64 is able to handle power and provide maximal sound performance as the EM3-PRO does. In addition to that, it has the rigor of the EM32 in terms of spectrum control, handling all the dynamic signals that characterize the live music listening.

SOUND
The EM64 provides a full rich sound throughout the whole spectrum with a foreground presence effect for an incredible LIVE experience.
The sound is balanced, natural and musical. It has all the ingredients that made the success of EarSonics: organic and warm lows, processed mids and mastered high-mids, with full control of harshness even at high volume levels.
The highs are textured and fine with rich harmonics, giving a clear and airy feel.

R&D
The EM64 has EarSonics new generation big proprietary drivers and features the new « TRUEWAVE » system: a 3 asymmetrical output cannula topped by a mono–brass bell.
All of that leading to an optimal phase control and a prime magnitude coherence curve.

Custom only IEM? Haven't heard of their newer stuff due to lack of retailers around my area. Would still like to give it a go though!

Yes this one is custom only, but the Purple is a universal that uses the same tech (TrueWave) with a tuning switch so maybe there is a switch position where it’s close to the EM64, @Deezel177 should have an opinion I think he had a Purple review coming up (unless I missed it !)

Well it’s not a universal version of the EM64 but the Earsonics Purple is the closest thing you’ll get

Would have to go to another country just to try it out. Good to know it retains the ES house sound though

@cfc7 No I haven’t but @Deezel177 has posted elements of comparisons

Looks like the EM64 has made it on HF homepage :)

Great!

Keep in mind the demo is 75% of what the custom will be, I had the opportunity to listen to the demo at the Paris Audio show and A/B with my own EM64 and you don't get the same bass and lower mids, soundstage is a bit less expanded as well as is detail retrieval. But it's a good way to grasp the signature of course.

Thanks David !
I am lucky to live near them, it would be a shame not to go for trying their demo.
