Hey all, I hope some one can answer this.
Compared to lead wire and other types of electronic wires that are insulated, I find that usually regular earphone wires have the most flex life, flexible and torsion resistance out there (or is there better?). I believe the insulator for most earphone wires are stranded and use some kind of rubber insulation, while a lot of other electrical wires are plastic insulated. The properties of those wires are usually cheaper, more stiff and brittle as they age.
I'm looking for long reels of earphone wires. Is there a good manufacturer that make extreme flex wires like earphones who they can recommend and the specific type of material they use? I'm having a hard time looking around.
Thanks
