i got bored and start messing with the earbud that come with my imp350. it sound crap, but after i mod it, using an idea learn from the ex71 silver mod and my own, now it sound better and smoothed out and sound stage got a tiny bigger. the highs are push back so it dont hurt and have sibilance, the high-lows/bass are improved so drum bass sound more punchy, and the midrange is emphasis like the px200.
so tell me, after modding the ex71, does it worth the $40?

Cool! Maybe I should mod my FL100 earbuds then. Frankly, I haven't even taken them out of their package yet.

Anyway, which mod are you talking about concerning the EX71? I'm really disappointed with its sound, so if there's a mod to make it sound as good as the KSC-35 or better, I'm all up for it!
