hello I was wondering if some one can help me put my headphones together lol im kinda new at soldering earbuds and kinda confused on which color goes with which color , well here is the situation:

there is a green cable and red/gold and im not sure if i need to solder them or if i can just use electric tape and seperate the two colors i tryed to connect red with red cables and green with green cables with electric tape but no luck

any help greatly appreiated

P.S. the other headphone works fine its the left that ripped off

That is because the wire is coated with varnish, scrape that off and soldering them together becomes much easier.

(simply taping them together is not gonna work for very long)

so i'll i have to do is take off the varnish and connect the two colors together

green with green and red with red
