OK, this is really weird for me. Ive had my E4's for over a month now and for some reason, they keep sliding back out of my ear canal.

I bought these to replace my E3's which I had used for over a year. Never had any problems with them, and they actually felt like they went in further. They just stayed where you put them. The E4 seems to not go in as far and Im wondering if the angle is different.

Im using the same size grey soft flex for both and yes, they are clean and so are my ears. I used a couple new ones just to check but to no avail.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeh the tri-flages would no doubt give you a better fit, but you might have to turn them into bi-flanges by cutting the first layer. Also have you tried the foamies, that is what I use and they really give a good seal.

I did that but felt they stuck out of my ear too much. Really looked funny. Im at a loss here. Oh and if anyone thinks the E4 has no bass, listen to the new Black Eyed Peas album, it will rock your socks.

Do you wear them straight down or wrapped around the ear? I find that the latter keeps them in place better. Also, you may indeed not be inserting them far enough. I switched from the medium to the small grey soft tips so I could insert them farther. IMO if you're having to twist to get them into the ear canal, you're using too big of tips. They don't have to fit "tight", as long as you're getting a proper seal. Using the above techniques, I have no problems whatsoever with them slipping out (unless my ears get reallllly sweaty!) ~HTH
