I've been using my E4 with a couple of amps, a Pimeta and a Total BitHead. I like the Pimeta better, btw.

I love the E4 amped. Love it.

The bass comes out to play. It's not thumping, but it has presence and bite. I now notice the bloat in my sf5p. I still prefer the sf5p unamped, but once amped, to me at least, it's no contest: the E4 is superb.

I like the E4 too. The mids are amazing. Too bad I had to end up selling it to get this A900, which I will be selling in favor of an A900LTD. This is like a never ending loop...

You should hear them with a Hornet...

Although the Super.Fi 5 Pro sounds pretty sick with the Hornet as well...

lol dur, of course an amp would suffice the little E4 a lot. However, it just shows the nice ability of the super.fi's that they can produce nice bass without the need of any amp.

Actually, for some odd reason, these days feel that the 5 pros don't produce ENOUGH bass

That was after I had the KSC75's on for a few days only.
