Hello every1
I am able to get e3c and hd595 and A900 for the same price.
I was thinking to use e3c for gym because it is portable, but hd595 has amazing sound quality which makes me think twice(about A900 i dont know anything), so which is more important. Is the sound difference so huge? and the biggest factor which i am looking is Sound Quality.

I wil be using it unamped, in 2G Ipod mini and Laptop.
I am not going to by amp in my life and these are my first and last good headphones.

I Mosty Listen too.

Trance (Tiesto,ATB,PVD)
Rock (LinkinPark,Tool,Hoobastank)
Hip-Hop(Ludacris,50cent,Snoopdog)
Soundtracks,Piano,guitar,orchestra

Thx in Advance

I dont think so because I am living in middle-east, so I cannot internetshop. The only brands availabel here are Shure,Sennisher,Audio tecnia.

The three model i have mentioned here are nearly the same price,+- $15

One more thing, I dont Know what is highrange, midrange, frequency, muddy, etc, etc, etc.
I am new to all this, only thing i know is bass and treble

Yeah thats what i thought...... Well i never heard the 595 or the 900, but iam sure that they both beat the e3c. Oh and the 900 are easy to drive from a portable and a labtop.

E3 and A900 have opposite sound signitures. The E3 has lots of midrange
and recessed treble/bass whereas the A900 has treble/bass but no midrange.

Apparently the HD595 would be the safest bet sound wise (your list of music suggest you'd need something fairly universal), with the A900 being preferred if you need closed cans (isolation and all, though I don't know how good they are in that regard - the search function will know more). Since AFAIK the A900s are fairly big and thus not too portable anyway, I'd probably prefer the HD595. Maybe get a PX100 or MX500s for portable use in addition to that.

The E3s have lots of midrange (everything that's *not* treble and bass), but a more quiet bass and treble (easily fixed by an equalizer, but the mini doesn't have one...). The A900 has lots of treble and bass, but not much midrange.

Hope that helped!

I mostly listen to trance, I want headphones that are the best sounding of these three without an amp. dont care about portability because sound is my first priority.

I dont know what is rescessed, midrange, highrange, frequency, muddy, etc so please talk in newbie langaue

The HD595 (better than the 590) is a safe choice, it's great and does justice to everything you might play through it.

It should be but you also need to make sure that the 595's are 50ohms which makes it easier to sound good without an amp because the older ones had 120ohms it should say on the box near the bottom of the specs. Also i think you would love any of these headphones. I have both the e3c and 595 and if you only care about sound then get the 595 because they have a great soundstage and sound really good and work with most music. But if you do care about porability then by all means get the shure e3cs because they sound great for being so small and portable. You will be happy with any 4 of these headphones.
