Was just at Frys and notice the Shures are on their racks now. If you're 'out West' and looking to pick them up immediately, you have another option now. Prices were (if I remember correctly) $99 and $179.

They've been at Fry's for a while now... only at full MSRP though

Oh, I hadn't noticed them before. Well, V6s and Shures, a couple good phones out of their ~50.

Mine (Fountain Valley) also had a few pairs of E5s. Given Fry's return policy and our recent discussion on unsanitary RMAs, I'd look elsewhere first. I was examining a box of E2Cs, and the package fell apart like it had already been opened. No telling where those have been...

I was shocked when I saw the E2 and E3 at Fry's like over a month ago. The packaging doesn't look tamper proof.

1) I saw empty boxes - indication of stolen merchandise
2) Many of them were opened already and the contents were distrubed
3) Some of them were returned

After talking to some of my friends about them, they all told me they were confused about the product line. The E3 are smaller and are colored white. By appearances alone, they look like cheaper headphones than the fancy looking E2.

I wouldn't buy it from Fry's because of their poor ways of handling store merchandise.

I suppose I count myself a tad luckier with Fry's (So Cal - City of Ind.) than most of you around here. I found most E2s and E3s to be undisturbed and in their pristine condition. I've also not run into return-zombie-nazis in my Fry's, as I've returned my E2s and as they should have been, they were marked "Return to Vendor." For that matter, most E2s and E3s were undisturbed, probably a lot of those people gagged the moment they saw the price tags.

And they did have 5 E5s, which I've briefly considered... But I don't see them anymore. I wonder if they fell victim to the 5-finger discounts?

For the record, the E2s' driver housings were just too big for my ears, so it hurt the hell out of my ears proper, the canal fitting were fine.

I don't suppose they have any you can test? I know it is kinda gross with canal-phones, but I'm thinking about returning my E2s for E3s. I bought them on-line with a 30 day guarantee. I'd love to try the E3s before I decide to upgrade.
