I got mine today and it comes with a red box. The shop keeper told me that this the new shipment of thier earphones. Is it true. Anyway, it is made in Mexico...

The 'c' in E2c stand for 'Consumer'

I bought the E2c off E-cost.com but after about 6 months they broke so I sent them back to Shure and (eventually) got a replacement pair. They replaced em with the non-'c' E2 and yeah there is absolutely no difference. I didn't notice any extra sleeves, but I only use the foamies so it could well be.
