Hey,
 
I'm currently torn between those two headphones. What i'm looking for is a pair of bassy headphones that would still keep a good clarity. Any advice from someone who owns or owned both would be appreciated. I've heard they were quite similar but i can't find much litterature on the Internet about the E-MU.

I went for a pair of th x00, the lack of litterature about the Teaks on the Internet kind of put me off. From the little i've been able to gather, the sound is quite similar, maybe the overall sound quality is slightly better on the E-Mu but they seems to have a little less bass, and that's what i was looking for. But it's the Internet and some persons had their advices on this and some others had a totally different one, so at some point you have to bite the bullet. Also the E-MU were 100 dollars more and it's been a factor.

How are you liking the th-x00? I am waiting for massdrop to do another drop on the E-mu Teak. I decided to go with E-mu Teak based on Tyll's review on these :-
