Sorry if someone else already mentioned this, I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything.

There doesn't appear to be any hardware changes other than the color. They updated the software bundle.

Nah, the white looks actually good! To me, the appearance otherwise is pretty fouled up and no fancy colour can save it.

An all front-facing unit would have been worth buying another one for me, though that would obviously take more work than changing color.

Seriously, make it a full 19" wide you have to, even if everyone else can shoehorn -more- into a half rack with ony front and rear ports and knobs.

I like the white. But does anyone know what they changed on the software bundle that was mentioned above? Still, not much of an improvement for a special edition too.

Not really, no. However, it it is the same "estimated street price" as the regular 0404 usb: $199, (from emu's website).
