Just been doing a bit of reading on Wikipedia about Dynamic and Armature drivers. Seems Dynamic drivers are quite good for low frequencies and bass etc, whilst Armature are better it the higher frequencies. From what I can make out, most of the better IEMs have 2-3 drivers and it seems they are balanced Armature ones.
Not that I'm very clued up about these things, and I'm talking well above my station (I'm just trying to learn!) but wouldn't it be better in two driver models to have 1 dynamic and 1 armature? And with 3 driver models to have 1 dynamic and 2 armature?
Seems the E500PTH and the Triple.Fi have just 3 armature's?

The only one I can see that has both is the Super.Fi 5 EB?

I've not tried this earphone as I have a set of Sure E4G's, but I'd have thought it would sound rather good as it has both?

Does having armature and dynamic produce a better sound?

The only thing I can compare it to in my head is having an orchestra with no dedicated bass instruments, and expecting the cello to help out? lol
