The dynamic content in the right column of a forum thread page keeps changing height (length down the page). As it does, it often changes the width of the post that is near the bottom of that column. This of course changes word wrap and makes reading long posts nearly impossible.
I would suggest that the height be fixed at a reasonable maximum and not change dynamically.
At the very least, fix the height of the most frequently-changing content (the scrolling and relatively not-valuable tips and info area just below the ads). It seems that the varying height of this causes the most-frequent change in column height.
This is a huge usability mistake, apparently motivated by programmers that are technically too clever by half, too enamored of dynamic capabilities without considering impact on the user.
