Does anyone remove their batteries when using the dx90 as a DAC?

4 years now with the little beast ... still happy with it except the phone out jack wich need to be changed ( for the second time ) due to false contacts ...
BUT i'll admit i've used it a lot with several hedphones and IEMs each day for the last 3 years ( since the first replacement ) ...

does'nt have enough infos about this, maybe it's normal or it is a short lifetime for a jack ? ...

I had problem with this jack very quickly (as I used it mainly as a USB Dac, it took time to notice this).

yep, this problem is not new ( i also have it with the DX50 when i owned one ) but the problem is the form factor of this type of jack .. the only way to fix it is to desolder the jack and put a new one in place ...

i have used it as a DAC also but if i remember well i cannot watch movies due to a lack of synchronicity between the images and the sound ...

Don't know if the information will serve anyone : i use some jubatec battery and i'm pretty happy with it ( 2400 mAh ) ...
i had a problem after 2 years of use after my purchase ( no more warranty for just few days ) and jubatec have accepted to change it for free ... just have to send them the battery for test ... they send me a replacement for free ... pretty rare to be mentionned ...

How does the DX90 behave compared to more modern daps and dongles, say under € 200 such as Hiby R3 Pro, Lotoo Paw S1? Intended only in terms of sound quality.

does anyone know the largest SD size that will work OK in the DX90 - would 2TB work OK ??

on page 3 it says " Support for SDXC and SDHC MicroSD Card, up to 2TB. (as they become available)

just wanted to know if anyone can confirm 1024GB up to 2TB work OK or not ?

It seems to me that technically, you are not limited by SD size. You may ask iBasso directly.

Have any of you who owned or own a DX90 tried the DX120? Did you think it sounded better? If so, was it clearly better, or was it just different in a way you preferred? Did anyone conclude that the DX120 wasn't better?
