For some time I have been asking iBasso if they are going to come out with a smaller DAP. They finally answered that very soon, the DX50 would be available. I am very much looking forward to this. IPS screen. 
 

 
About the size on an ipod but a little thicker.

 but now, go for the HDP-R10 or waiting for DX50... Somebody know his hardware spec ? A price ? Thanks for this news !

It's a personal take but I much prefer this purpose built approach to an enhanced android device. I do understand that the DX100 is more than that but this size, tactile buttons etc is very appealing. I hope they aim it directly at IEMs and efficient portable cans to allow good battery life and noise floor without the need for an elaborate amp circuit etc. Size looks appropriate for easy portability, like you could fit it in your Otterbox along with your CIEMs.

This reminds me more of an apple product or an ak100 compared to the rather brickgeek dx100, not that i hate that kind of design
If its 400 dollar and below i am ready to give it a try (unless they want to try dx150)
