I have 3 solutions to enable the 340 DC Desktop modes now!!! But the 2 I adore the most is the NiCD pure battery voltage and the LPSU Sigma 11
Here is NiCD pure battery being charged. I calles it this way because the batteries are connected in a way that it only supply pyre voktage output without additional LDO or Low Drop Out regulations in the chain like Power Packs. This is best available with NiCD packs only
Disclaimer: in order to enjoy this, you need to be an experienced RC hobby user and knowing what to do. Some more details FYI
Although I am sure you are aware of this: NiCD does have its own downside compared to lithium batteries. They suffer from memory effect which means you have to fully discharge these batteries before you charge up everytime.

Lithium batteries doesnt offer linear voltage unless using with Battery management boards, which induces it own noises and degradation to the sound.
NiCD packs are dirt cheap. I can use for a year then replace no problems by me. Also, charging with a good charger at controlled current = the best way to charge without fully discharging
Sound performances is only behind LPSU, no powerbank can outperform it!
Many different 3rd party apps can cause glitches on Dx340 due to the DAC being Ibasso in house developed. I recommend using MangoPlayer for the moment. Will take sometiemsnfor 3rd party to realizes the glitches and works out
S58-U is up to 64GB Max. It has better internal nand Program/Erase cycle, up to 60K(due to 3D P-SLC). Read up to 97MB/sec, Write up to 84MB/sec
S55-U is up to 256GB Max. It has lower internal nand Program/Erase cycle, up to 3K(due to 3D TLC), Read up to 97MB/sec, Write up to 60MB/sec
Both would feature the same type of industrial microsd error correcting features and long term reliability. Even when the S55-U is using the lower endurance 3D TLC, the microsd card itself already far exceeds any commcerical microsd card interms of write endurance, so I don't think the lower P/E is any concern for our audiophile purpose, both cards already far exceeds read performances required for highest resolution audio playback(DSD512 or even DSD1024).
I would consider what capacity is acceptable to you first. I have not heard the S58-U myself but the S58-U P-SLC would technically be superior in sound quality in theory but I think S55-U would be not far away from it as it already has excellent low power consumption(read and idle)

I would actually be surprised if you could just apply EQ to DSD files...unless you widen the bitrate and "dither" afterwards (super CPU hungry). If that is what Wavelet is doing, then it may not be fully compatible with the DX340 (or simply use too much CPU power).
I used Remko @Stouthart optimization commands from ABD and mine doesnt burn battery at all
I also dont have the problems of random hisses for now with the newest firmware and 3rd party UAPP, which I think has a better sonic performances than MangoPlayer and with better album arts resolution
My setting is very simple. Just use the highest buffer sizes available 131072 frames.
Bit perfect Off sounds better than On. It seems "On" mode loses out informations or bit details as the sound becomes very steriles and lack of extensions, definitions

Can you please tell me where to find the Bit Perfect off and on settings? I haven’t been able to find it, and I thought I had looked everywhere. Thanks

On playback screen, look all the way to the bottom right, there is the 3 vertical bars icon. Click on that and all the settings will be available when you pause playback.
